Lab Grown Diamond Gold Rings for Women

227 rings in genuine gold, starting at ₹19,312. Almost every design here is set with certified lab grown diamonds, with a smaller range in natural gemstones — opal, garnet, tourmaline, aquamarine and amethyst. Most designs can be made in 9K, 10K, 14K or 18K gold and in yellow, rose or white, in sizes 10 to 16, so the same ring can be built to suit very different budgets. Every gold piece is BIS hallmarked with its own HUID. Everything is designed and made in our own unit in Sitapura, Jaipur, and ships fully insured across India with our lifetime warranty.

Are lab grown diamonds real diamonds?

Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined one — same carbon crystal, same hardness, same refraction. The only difference is that it was grown in a controlled environment over a few weeks rather than underground over millions of years. A jeweller cannot tell them apart by eye or with a loupe; it takes specialist equipment reading growth patterns. What changes is the price: a lab grown diamond typically costs a fraction of a mined stone of the same carat, colour and clarity, which is why a one carat solitaire here starts around ₹59,000 rather than several times that.

Which karat gold should I choose?

It is a trade-off between colour, durability and price, and there is no single right answer. 9K (37.5% gold) is the hardest and the most affordable, holds detail well, and is the reason rings in this collection start at ₹19,312 — it is a genuine, hallmarked gold alloy, not plating. 14K (58.5%) is the usual choice for a ring worn every day, balancing a richer colour against everyday hardness. 18K (75%) gives the deepest, warmest yellow and is the traditional Indian preference for occasion jewellery, but it is softer and scratches more readily. For an engagement ring that will not come off, most people are happiest at 14K.

Gold rings by budget

₹19,000 – ₹32,000 — our 9K yellow gold range. Diamond-set designs with real character: the Crossover (₹19,312), Emblem (₹23,402), Ribbon (₹25,771), Open Heart (₹25,904), Swirl (₹26,910), Floral Cluster (₹27,414), Starburst (₹28,571), Teardrop (₹29,329) and Bloom (₹29,499). The entry point into real gold.
₹32,000 – ₹45,000 — natural gemstone ovals in 9K gold — fire opal (₹35,683), aquamarine (₹35,345), tourmaline (₹36,240), amethyst (₹34,309), garnet (₹34,221) — plus open and curved diamond designs from ₹32,668.
₹45,000 – ₹90,000 — the solitaire range. One carat round solitaire from ₹59,404, heart solitaire from ₹42,268, pavé bands from ₹68,383, 1.5 carat round and princess solitaires from about ₹83,000.
₹90,000+ — three-stone trios from ₹97,128, larger solitaires, and toi et moi designs to ₹2,07,766.

How much does a gold ring cost, and why does the price move?

Between ₹19,312 and ₹2,07,766 in this collection, and the same design can sit at either end of a wide band. A one carat round solitaire runs from ₹59,404 in 9K to roughly ₹78,000 in 18K — same diamond, same design, different quantity of gold. That is why the price you see first is the starting price, and it changes as you pick purity and colour on the product page. Because we manufacture in-house, the price reflects the gold and the stone rather than a distributor margin and a retail chain's markup on top.

Which ring style should I pick?

Solitaire — one centre stone, the classic. Easiest to wear daily, never dates. Halo — a centre stone ringed with smaller diamonds, which makes the centre look noticeably larger for the carat weight. Three-stone or trio — traditionally past, present and future, and a common choice for an anniversary. Eternity and pavé bands — diamonds set around the band, designed to stack or to wear alongside an engagement ring. Toi et moi — two stones side by side, the most searched engagement style of recent years. Gemstone — a natural coloured stone for someone who does not want a diamond, or who wants her birthstone.

Is the gold hallmarked and are the diamonds certified?

Yes to both. Every gold ring goes for hallmarking before it ships, so it carries a BIS hallmark with its own unique HUID — genuine 9K to 18K gold alloy, never plated brass or gold-plated silver. Every lab grown diamond ring comes with a grading certificate confirming carat, cut, colour and clarity, and IGI certification is available on request. Natural gemstone pieces come with an authenticity certificate identifying the stone. If you want to see the certificate for a specific ring before ordering, message us on WhatsApp at +91 86007 18666 and we will send it.

What size should I order, and can it be resized?

These rings are made in sizes 10 to 16. If she already wears a ring on the same finger, measure its inner diameter and match it against our size guide, which also covers four other ways to find her size without asking. Where a ring needs resizing after delivery, write to us and we will advise on what that particular design allows — a plain or pavé band resizes more easily than a full eternity band, where the stones run the whole way round. Because each ring is made to order, it is worth getting the size right first rather than planning to alter it.

Who makes these rings?

We do. Ornate Jewels designs, manufactures and quality-checks every piece in our own production unit in Sitapura, Jaipur — there is no third-party manufacturer, no distributor and no retail chain between our workshop and your hand. That is why we can build the same design in four gold purities and three colours, and why we can make something entirely custom if none of these 227 is quite right. See how custom works, or send us a reference on WhatsApp and we will quote it.

How long does delivery take, and is Cash on Delivery available?

Gold rings are made to order, so allow around 7 to 10 days from order to delivery rather than the 3 to 5 days our silver pieces take. Gold orders ship prepaid only — Cash on Delivery is not available on gold, though it is on silver — and every gold shipment is fully insured and tracked to every serviceable pincode in India. We ship to Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Jaipur, Chennai, Kolkata and beyond, at no delivery charge.

What happens if something goes wrong with it later?

We repair it. Every ring carries our lifetime warranty, covering manufacturing defects, stone resetting where a prong has failed, and re-polishing, for as long as you own it. It does not cover accidental damage or ordinary wear. Write to care@ornatejewels.com or call 8600718666 with your order number. Courier both ways is at the customer's cost; the work itself is free.

How do I look after a gold ring?

Warm water, a few drops of mild dish soap and a soft brush, then rinse and dry with a soft cloth — that removes the film of lotion and soap that dulls a diamond faster than anything else. Take it off before swimming, cleaning or the gym, since chlorine attacks gold alloys and a knock is what loosens a stone. Store it apart from your other jewellery, because a diamond will scratch every other piece in the box. A professional clean once or twice a year is enough for a ring worn daily.
